Fall has really started to set in here in the PNW so I’ve been indulging my nostalgic streak by looking through some of the photos I took during the height of summer. Green Lake is a welcome escape for a lot of urbanites, a little bit of nature tucked away in one of Seattle’s many neighborhoods. Most of the time the path around the lake is full of joggers, dog walkers, roller bladers, casual strollers and the occasional photo-hungry local like myself. I snapped this one on a very warm summer evening just as the sun dipped below the hill. There was a lot of foot traffic behind me but thankfully the moment feels tranquil and quiet.
