Painted Ladies

My final shot I will post from San Francisco is (unsurprisingly) of the famous Painted Ladies at Alamo Square. I’ve debated about posting the full color version but I think I prefer a fresh take on them with the black and white instead. This way I’ve been able to better appreciate the nuances of their architectural design and their individual style. Plus if you Google “Painted Ladies” you can see them in all of their colorful glory with absolutely zero effort.

I realize that all the photos I’ve posted from my visit have been grayscale but this time I really wanted to focus on the dimensions of the city itself, without being overly distracted by its inherent vibrancy.
